    Dear Aleksei,
    Is there any toolbox available for tuning the fractional order lag-lead controller in matlab environment?
    if there is any tollbox please give the details.

    FO lead/lag compensators are equivalent to band-limited FO PI/PD controllers implemented in a specific frequency range $(\omega_b,\omega_h)$. You can tune these in FOMCON.

    how to approximate(implement) fractional order [PI]lamda and fractional order [PD]mu controller.

    E.g., using the Oustaloup approximation method.

    suppose i have a controller of type ((s+1)/(s+5))^0.5
    how can i approximate(implement) it.
    if it possible please give the matlab prog for above controller.
